Look after it early

Small jobs that prevent big repairs

Your engine depends on clean oil, fresh filters and healthy fluids to stay cool, lubricated and efficient. Keeping up with routine maintenance gives worn parts a chance to be spotted before they turn into a breakdown or a bigger bill.

Routine care
Oil & filter service and regular checks.
The result
Fewer surprises and an engine that lasts.

Every vehicle's schedule is a little different. Your owner's manual lists what your vehicle needs and when, and we can help you keep on top of it.

When to get it checked

Signs your engine is due for maintenance

Don't wait for a warning light. Regular care is easier on your engine and your budget.

  • Service reminder

Your dashboard reminder is on, or you're past the date or mileage of your last oil change.

  • Dark or low oil

Oil on the dipstick looks very dark or gritty, or the level is below the mark.

  • Running less smoothly

Rough idling, hesitation or a drop in fuel economy can mean the engine needs attention.

  • New noises or smells

Ticking, knocking or a burning-oil smell is worth checking before it gets worse.

Tip: write down when it happens and what you noticed, and tell us when you call.

It depends on your vehicle, the oil it uses and how you drive. Your owner's manual lists the recommended interval, and many manuals have a separate schedule for short trips, towing or extreme weather.

Book a visit as soon as you can. Old oil protects the engine less well over time, so it is best not to leave it longer.
